The founder's story

Elie Tatukila

A pastor on Sundays, an engineer all week - and the same tiredness you carry.

At sixteen, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, I gave my life to Jesus. I've never left the Church since. I started out doing everything: intercession, evangelism, welcoming, ushering… right down to stacking the chairs and cleaning the hall.

In Liège, in 2001, alongside Pastor Jean Tshiteya, I served in the youth ministry, the choir, evangelism and the sound booth. Then, in 2011, came Luxembourg: a tech lead consultant during the week, and El Shaddaï church - alongside Pastor Adama Ouedraogo, now with the Lord - where my ministry took on another dimension: preaching and pastoral care.

That's where I came face to face with what every pastor lives. Someone drifts away, and you only notice weeks too late. Schedules, events, logistics - to the point of being exhausted before the program has even begun.

It was in that context that the Lord inspired Eklez: a pastoral copilot that watches over souls so none is lost, and carries the admin so you can return to what matters - prayer, the Word, and the care of people.
